Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your data. Follow the steps below to delete your local or cloud data.
Delete Local Data
All photos, encounters, and settings are stored locally on your device. To delete this data:
- Uninstall the RealDex app from your device, or
- Go to your device's Settings → Apps → RealDex → Clear Data (Android) or delete the app (iOS).
This will permanently remove all locally stored photos, encounters, species data, and preferences.
Delete Cloud Data
If you have used Cloud AI identification, we may store limited usage data in our cloud services (device identifier, usage counters, subscription tier). To request deletion of this data:
Submit a Data Deletion Request
Use the form below to submit your data deletion request. You will need your device identifier, which can be found in the app under Settings → About → Device ID.

- Your device identifier and associated cloud usage records will be permanently deleted.
- Any subscription entitlements managed through RevenueCat will be unlinked from your device.
- Cloud AI images are not stored after processing, so there is nothing to delete.
- Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
